THE FOUNDER
Shari Smith has always had a passion for working with children. She has developed special programs that share her loves in fun and exciting ways. She was born to a math teacher and naturally inherited the love for it. She started dance classes at age four and studied for several years. In her teenage years to early 20s, she walked several local runways and graced the pages of several local magazines, in her hometown of Detroit. Each camp program stems from her interests, skills, talent and experience.
CAMPS THAT ROCK
Camps That Rock is the umbrella program encompassing the three camps created by the Founder, Shari Smith. Each camp is unique in it's own right. They are interesting. They are fun. And of course, they ROCK!!!
I AM DANCE. I AM FITNESS., LLC.
I Am Dance. I Am Fitness., LLC. was developed from Shari's first company I Am Dance, LLC. Initially focusing on dance, Shari expanded into the fitness industry and has been teaching dance and fitness to individuals of all ages for several years. She also provided choreography and artist development to individuals and groups in the music industry.
SHARI - THE MATH TUTOR
With a love for math and working with children, Shari coupled the two and began tutoring all ages and various levels of math. With a degree in Electrical Engineering, she has been able to assist dozens of students increase their skill level in the subject

I Am Dance. I Am Fitness., LLC. was developed from Shari's first company I Am Dance, LLC. Shari E. Smith - Founder and Director
Shari Smith, a native Detroiter, has two loves. Dance and Math. She began formal training at age 6 studying Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Gymnastics, Baton and African Dance. Shari studied for several years. As a teenager, she taught children 11 and under. With a natural knack for Hip-Hop, she choreographed and danced background for local hip-hop artists and participated in several talent competitions and showcases. Born to the mother that taught math, she inherited that interest naturally. It was her favorite subject in school that led her to a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Shari obtained an Electrical Engineering Degree from Tuskegee University and went into corporate America for several years. Eventually she felt unfulfilled and left corporate America.She established her own companies including 20/20 Entertainment, I Am Dance and a non-profit, Shut Up N Dance. She began to manage and market local artists, provide choreography, artist development, and show development for several acts, and offer dance workshops featuring celebrity choreographers. Shari also worked with clients that serviced talent on the national level including Sony/BMG and Sanctuary Urban c/o Perfectly Produced, Music World Entertainment, House of Dereon, Swifty McVay of D12, Redhaze Productions, Aris Records, and Peerless Productions. Promotion campaigns included artists: Destiny's Child, Bow Wow, John Legend, Lyfe Jennings, and Vivian Green. The goal of her companies is to create opportunities for dreams to come true for those interested in performing arts.
Shari moved to Atlanta in January 2008 where she is growing her business. She took her love for math and dance and created a career utilizing both. She tutors math and teaches dance and fitness to individuals of all ages. She created programs that emphasize the two as well. In addition, Smith offers artist development to musical performers and talent.
Her accomplishments include her “Got Talent Summer Camp” featured on Detroit’s Fox News, the 500+ Michael Jackson Tribute Flash mob featured on Atlanta’s Fox and NBC News stations as well as all the smiles, hugs and love she receives tutoring and teaching dance and fitness.
